Jude Peters Delivers Breakthrough 2025 Prototype Campaign in the Ligier European Series

For EC Sports Management driver-client Jude Peters, the 2025 season in the Ligier European Series marked a remarkable step forward in his professional ascent through European prototype racing. In a highly competitive grid that featured deep talent and multi-car team operations, Jude closed the year 3rd in the Overall Championship, delivering podiums at iconic circuits, a standout victory at Spa, and one of the most impressive comeback drives of the season at Portimão.

From the opening rounds in Barcelona, it was clear that Peters’ rookie prototype campaign would be defined by pace, resilience, and rapid development. After starting 4th in Race 1, an early-season technical failure removed him from contention, but he rebounded immediately with a 5th-place finish in Race 2 after starting 7th, demonstrating composure and adaptability under pressure.

Momentum built quickly heading into Paul Ricard in May. There, Jude delivered his first pair of podium finishes of the year—3rd in both races, starting from P5 and P4—and firmly established himself as a consistent threat at the front of the field. That upward trajectory carried directly into one of motorsport’s most iconic stages: Le Mans.

For any young driver, debuting at Le Mans is a milestone. Jude made the most of it. Starting 4th, he secured a 3rd-place finish after a hard-fought race that showcased both racecraft and composure against the series’ most experienced competitors. Reflecting on the moment, Jude shared, “This season has been a really positive first step into prototype racing in Europe. Particularly with my debut race at Le Mans getting a podium with some really tough battling.”

The summer brought both adversity and triumph. At Spa-Francorchamps, a challenging Race 1 resulted in a P20 finish from 7th, but Jude’s response in Race 2 became one of the defining highlights of his season. Starting 8th, he charged through the field to claim his first series victory, capturing the win at one of the world’s most demanding circuits. “Taking our first win at Spa after starting from 7th was a great feeling,” Jude said. “It was a huge moment for the whole program.”

The September round at Silverstone further tested the team’s resilience. After qualifying deep in the field, Jude vaulted from 27th to 7th in Race 1, delivering one of the most impressive recovery drives of the weekend. Race 2 ended prematurely when an unsafe rejoin from two other competitors collected Jude’s car, ending the effort despite encouraging pace.

The season concluded at Portimão, where Peters delivered one of the standout drives of the year. In Race 1, after starting 25th, Jude stormed from the very back to climb to 3rd before the driver change, with the team ultimately finishing 5th. Race 2 delivered yet another podium: a strong 2nd-place finish from P6, reinforcing the pace Jude had refined throughout the year.

As his debut prototype season wrapped up, Jude’s trajectory continued beyond the championship. He entered the 24 Hours C1 race at Portimão, preparing for his first ever 24-hour endurance event. “I can’t wait to do a 24-hour race for the first time to experience what it is really like,” he said—a fitting reflection of a driver hungry for the next challenge.

With a season defined by podiums, a marquee victory, and unmistakable growth, Jude Peters’ 2025 campaign sets the foundation for an even more exciting next chapter. EC Sports Management is proud to support his development and looks forward to what comes next in his rising career.
