Keegan Sobilo Sets Sights on a Bigger 2027,
as told by Keegan Sobilo
The 2026 season was intentionally limited as I prioritized completing my high school education. I competed in a single event at Birch Run Speedway in July, driving for my family-owned race team, Keegan Sobilo Racing (KSR), in the Turn One CRA Pro Series. I qualified eighth and finished tenth, a respectable result after an extended time away from competition.
My racing career began in 2016, when I competed in a mini cup at the age of eight. Over the past decade, I have earned the 2019 GLS Mini Cups Overall Championship, the 2022 CRA Late Model Sportsman Championship as a rookie, and the 2024 Corrigan Oil Speedway Legends of Spartan Memorial Race victory, along with various late model victories at different levels. This year, I also earned the necessary approval to compete in select NASCAR Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series events at the national level.
Simulation racing remains an integral part of my development. I compete full-time in the NASCAR iRacing Series, where I currently rank among the top five in points, and in the iROC Challenge Series, where I am third in points. Notable victories this year include the O.B. Builders Cup Series event at Echopark Speedway in July and the iROC Challenge Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Competing against elite drivers continues to refine my racecraft.
For 2027, my objectives are to compete full-time in the CRA Pro Series with KSR, field a second pro late model entry for a funded driver, and gain experience in the NASCAR Truck Series as I pursue competition at the national level. Above all, I am committed to building healthy partnerships, representing my partners with pride, and conducting myself with courtesy and respect. I welcome the opportunity to connect with prospective partners who share these values and would like to be part of my journey.
